We bring the community together

GRNW hosts and promotes free public events that build relationships across the neighborhood, including community parades, Car Shows, National Night Out, Sell-A-Bration, Paint-a-Pumpkin with a Police Officer, holiday events, and more.

STAY UP TO DATE

What We Do Best

Garfield Ridge Neighborhood Watch helps residents stay engaged in practical, visible ways that make a real difference in the neighborhood.

We Help Residents Stay Informed

We host regular general meetings in conjunction with Beat 811 CAPS, where residents can hear updates from Beat 811 officers, ward representatives, and community partners. The site lists general meetings on the third Tuesday of each month, excluding December, at St. Faustina Ward Hall.

We encourage neighborhood awareness

We ask residents to stay alert, keep an eye on troubled buildings or suspicious activity, and contact 911 when necessary.

We support a cleaner, better-kept community

Volunteers help identify and report graffiti, potholes, lights that are out, overgrown brush, and other issues that affect neighborhood safety and appearance.

Why GRNW Matters

A safer neighborhood is not built by one person or one organization alone. It takes aware residents, strong communication, trusted partnerships, and opportunities for neighbors to know one another. Garfield Ridge Neighborhood Watch helps create all four.

By connecting residents with police, city services, elected officials, local organizations, and one another, GRNW helps turn concern into action and community spirit into long-term neighborhood strength.
